Lightweight alloys is a reinforcement material for the ship's hull. It gives the least amount of general protection compared to other alternatives, such as Reinforced Alloys or Military Grade Composite.
You can find it for sale at almost any station. Any ship you buy will almost certainly come with lightweight alloys fitted as standard.
