The NGC 1333 nebula is a small reflection nebula inside the Perseus molecular cloud - a 425 LY long collection of stars running from WMW2010 59 to 2MASS J03292407 + 3119577. Over 1,000 stars make up the cloud.
Being a reflection nebula, NGC 1333 Nebula has no stars within to light the gasses. The super heated plasma is heated from the stars around the nebula. Nearly on top of the NGC 1333 Nebula is the California Nebula.
