Pollux star

Pollux is an orange-hued evolved giant star. It's approximately 34 light-years from Sol in the northern constellation of Gemini. It is the closest giant star to Sol.

According to Greco-Roman mythology Pollux was said to be the divine son of Zeus, but the system that bears his name looks very much like any other "typical" star system.
